Client Director (Global)

Inspire global partnerships that shape the future of learning.

(Full-time – Zaltbommel / Hybrid – International scope)

Location : Zaltbommel (HQ)

Job Description

At Relevance Learning, we believe that organizations truly grow when their people grow. As a Global Client Director, you play a key role in making that happen. You build strategic partnerships with international clients, help them realize their ambitions, and create new opportunities that drive shared growth. You operate seamlessly between strategy and commerce — developing relationships while confidently leading acquisition efforts.

Your impact

You are responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of international key accounts. You know how to open doors — both within existing partnerships and with new clients — and translate strategic ambitions into impactful learning and transformation programs.

You are entrepreneurial, proactive, and strategic: you spot opportunities early and turn them into tangible propositions. You move easily between boardroom discussions at multinationals, internal project teams, and colleagues across different business units. You combine commercial drive with strategic advisory skills: not pushing, but partnering. Not selling, but co-creating.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic international accounts.
  • Acquire new clients and programs, both within existing relationships and new markets.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts, focusing on cross-selling, upselling, and portfolio expansion.
  • Advise clients at C-level on organizational development, leadership, and transformation strategies.
  • (Co-)create and propose large-scale learning and change programs aligned with client strategy.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear commercial objectives, milestones, and revenue targets.
  • Manage your pipeline and funnel: know where we win, where we lose – and why.
  • Collaborate closely with international teams to serve global client needs effectively.
  • Safeguard commercial performance, margins, and service quality across your accounts.

Who you are

A strategic advisor with commercial strength and natural influence. You’re comfortable operating at executive level, think in opportunities, and turn ideas into results. You understand how organizations learn, change, and grow — and you know that real impact comes from collaboration, trust, and relevance.

What you bring

  • A completed higher education degree (HBO+/Master’s) in business, economics, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in a commercial or strategic role, preferably in professional services.
  • Proven experience in new business development, strategic account management, and consultative selling.
  • Strong track record of operating and advising at C-level.
  • Experience in (co-)creating, acquiring, or proposing large-scale learning or transformation programs.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Preferably, an existing network within (international) corporates or multinationals.

What defines you

  • Strategic insight and commercial drive.
  • Persuasive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Relationship-oriented, yet results-focused.
  • Curious, proactive, and growth-minded.

What we offer

An international role within an organization that takes growth seriously — that of our clients, our participants, and our own people.

  • A strategic position within a fast-growing international organization.
  • An environment where commercial excellence, advisory skill, and entrepreneurship come together.
  • Collaboration with a passionate team of professionals shaping the future of learning and leadership.
  • A hybrid working model with international reach.
  • Plenty of room for initiative, autonomy, and personal development.
